Andrea de La Barre de Nanteuil lives in Paris, where she works as a public relations manager for a large fashion house. Her passion is writing—ideally while enjoying the view of the city’s rooftops from her kitchen window. The Story of Mademoiselle Oiseau, her children’s book debut, was inspired by the Paris of the 1920s and 1930s as well as long walks by the River Seine.
Lovisa Burfitt lives in Aix-en-Provence, France, and is one of Scandinavia’s most successful illustrators. Her style is reminiscent of fashion sketches with a quick line that is impressionistic and poetic. She is best known for her work for H&M as well as for magazines and newspapers including Vogue, Elle, Glamour, and the Sunday Times.
